Hi, I'm Uwe...

and I can't wait to hear from you. I'm an outdoor and nature enthusiast and a photographer and filmmaker by passion. I've spent years chasing light in some of the world's most beautiful places, from jaguars along the rivers of the Brazilian Pantanal to orcas off the coast of British Columbia.

In 2025 I traded my home country Germany for beautiful BC, and I still catch myself stopping mid-sentence to take in the mountains and the sea. So yes, I'm relatively new here, but I've come around quite a lot already, I spend every free minute out there.

I also work with a whale watching company part time, because whales are my other huge passion, ever since I was a little boy. Working with wildlife taught me to observe, how to read light, and how to recognize a moment worth preserving.

Now I bring that same eye to weddings, with an editorial approach: thoughtful composition and gentle direction that lets you simply enjoy being together. My favourite moment of any wedding is when someone shares something from the heart, whether in a vow or a toast, and the whole room goes quiet to listen. There's nothing quite like it.
